A last farewell

On Monday we had a ceremony of putting my stepdads urn into the grave, it was very beautiful.
The urn was painted by my stepsister, containing things he loved (hunting moose and fishing) and a quote that fit him very well.

Midsummer and Wonder Woman

So this Friday was midsummers eve and we went to my step uncle to celebrate. We ate a really good barbeque dinner and some newly smoked fish (since my step uncle wanted to show off his new smoking locker, or whatever it’s called). I did like my outfit for the day however, I borrowed a flower crown from my sister. According to tradition you’re supposed to make a flower crown out of different flowers and plants but since I possess neither the time, energy or skill to make one I just borrowed one of my sisters plastic ones (it fitted my style better anyways). Also my shoes are awesom, though last time I wore them was at my graduation 4 years ago so to say I’m a but unused to them are somewhat of an understatement.

Yesterday (Sunday) me, my sister and my mum went to the movie theatre to watch Wonder Woman and it was truly an awesome movie and I would love to see it again.

Horse walks and hair dye

So both Monday and Tuesday I had to walk Reynir instead of going for a ride since one of his shoes were loose. It was quite nice though except for that on Monday we were chased (read followed) by a wasp and on Tuesday we met a thunderstorm and got completely soaked.

And then today my friend came over and dyed my hair. Our goal was Spaceunicorn (so dark blue in the roots and a few centimeters down, pink in the ends and then purple inbetween), however it didn’t turn out exactly how we imagined it so now I’m going to buy some other colours and then in about 2 weeks we’re gonna try again and see if we maybe can get it a bit closer to the desired result. In the mean time this is definitely acceptable and I’m actually liking it more and more.

First day at work, horsie and dice.

So today was my first day at my summerjob, I basically just got to see the place and follow one of the workers around to see what needs to be done and such. I am however not entirely sure that someone (me) who’s socially awkward, doesn’t really like social situations and have somewhat of a hard time handeling them working at a retirement home is very optimal, but I’ll just have to do my best I guess.
Yesterday I took a ride along one of the riding paths and just had to take a picture because it was really pretty (plus I really like that path).

I got home my new dice about a week ago too so I did ofc have to take a picture of them, of my favourites and of all my dice.
My new Dice

My favourit out of them, they remind me of space

My d10 dice, simply because they’re pretty

All of my dice

Also my dice bag, because it’s pink.

My haircolours arrived today as well so on wednesday my friend is going to help me colour my hair, the result is going to be awesom (hopefully). I’ll post a picture when it’s done if I think it’s good enough, haha.

Mothers day, cute doggo and forest walks

I don’t know if I have that much to write to be honest, not a lot has happens since the market. Except of course that today was the last day of school and “all” we did was have our last exam (I sat for an hour).
I do however have some pictures to show you and lets start off with doggo, simply because he’s cute.

Then this past Sunday was mothers day and after a lot of searching ant thinking, me and my sister decided to buy our mom some roses together (the kind of roses that she can plant outside). Then in the evening we ate sandwich layer cake (aka smörgåstårta) for dinner and topped it off with some strawberries and cream for dessert.

Then yesterday I was out to horsie (I was there Monday as well but not important) and we took a walk without saddle. First and fore most, I got up on my own, without standing on something. It took a couple of tries and a not too impressed horse, but I made it.
We took a walk in the forest because it’s one of my favourite places to be, it’s always so nice and calm.
